The Coven of the Silver Possums is a cyber coven created to train long distance students. Black Forest training material is used, and the student is required to attend weekly on-line meetings with the facilitator. Due to the unique problems presented in long distance training, the potential student is put through a rigorous screening process which includes several exercizes and interviews with the facilitator.
Cyber covens were created to provide Black Forest training to those who aren't physically near a coven. The student, upon dedication, is required to attend the annual Grand Coven meeting in PA. Dedications are usually performed at the covenstead, unless arrangements can be made with another facilitator who might be travelling near the students home, or viceversa.
